(Strugatsky Brothers website) NOTES This is a crime / mystery thriller with surreal and psychedelic science fiction overtones based on a book Inspector Glebsky's Puzzle by the Strugatsky brothers. The screenplay was also written by the brothers and it differs from the book. The less you know about the movie the better starting point you have. The film is based largely on the mystery of what's happening to the people of Dead Mountaineer's Hotel. Is everything what it seems? Who's dead or who's not?。律师包赢作为律政界后起之秀，频频在离婚官司上大显身手，成了众多有钱人离婚官司的最佳人选。职场得意的包赢，却有着一段失败的婚姻。满口谎言的他让妻子静雅无法忍受，两人协议离婚，但为了给儿子丁丁一个完整的家两人依然生活在一起。误食“诚实蛋糕”让包赢失去了说谎的能力，输官司、丢工作、妻儿离开，包赢走进人生低谷。在诚实蛋糕神奇力量的影响下他一路跌跌撞撞，最终幡然醒悟认识到自己谎言的错误与伤害。最后他用真诚追回了妻子儿子，风波过后而包赢也不再是律师，一年后的他经营着一家甜品店和妻儿生活在一起。。
