One day, without really understanding how, it seems that Aurore, one of the prettie...。故事开始于1949年，程瑞祥（岳华 饰）带着妻子林丽卿（梁淑庄 饰）从大陆逃亡香港，迫于生计，程瑞祥竟然将妻子卖给他人。之后，满心愧疚和后悔的程瑞祥结识了赵大年（良鸣 饰）和车月亭（平凡 饰）等人，一场意外中，赵大年因触犯法律而被发配帝汶岛，他将自己的儿子振鹏（刘志荣 饰）托付给了程瑞祥抚养。之后，程瑞祥的事业逐渐红火，后与郑带好（周慧娟 饰）结为夫妻，总算在香港站稳了脚跟。 然而，程瑞祥的内心里一直都没有忘记过林丽卿，最终，无法忍受良心谴责的他还是离开了现在的妻子，与重逢的林丽卿再婚了。这一选择导致程瑞祥的事业一落千丈。。
