故事发生在1972年,南美的橄榄球队赴智利比赛,飞机于途中撞毁于安第斯山,但部分队员仍然生还.队长安东尼欧带领生还者挣扎着活下去,一边等候救难队的救援,但苦无反应.在大风雪下撑了九天,他们被迫分食死难者的肉维生,并尝试派人下山求援,但无功而返.后来又发生雪崩等灾难,经五十多天后天气渐暖,才剩下十六个人逃出生天。。该剧讲述安苒大学期间暗恋伊来，通过图书馆同一本书与其进行书信交流，谁知阴差阳错让伊来以为写信的是安苒的好朋友吕晴，心灵相通的两人最终还是走到了一起的故事。。Judith Fontaine (Regina Carrol) is looking for her sister Joanie, who has disappeared into the hippie community of Venice, California.
