air-drummer（空气鼓手）指的是手中并没有鼓，但是要模仿鼓手的样子，伴着音乐做出打鼓的动作，要求准确而生动，达到“手中无鼓，心中有鼓”的境界。本片的主人公就是一个希望能成为世上最好的空气鼓手的小镇青年，为了实现这一梦想，他除了要坚持不懈的努力，还要忍受周围人的嘲笑。。在东京新宿黄金街的小酒吧工作的真理子（伊藤沙莉饰），作为调酒师的她，还有另外一个身份——侦探。有一天，真理子接到一个组织的委托，要求她“寻找混入歌舞伎町的外星人”，她便开始与自称是忍者的恋人MASAYA（竹野内丰饰）合作进行搜索。。8-year old Oskar lives in a family-run children's home.
