该片聚焦相爱和不爱的人们，聚焦忠诚、忠贞、仇恨、羞愧、背叛、伤痛等。主角为意大利那不勒斯一对夫妻，30年前丈夫出轨爱上了一个年轻女子，30年后的今天，他们依然维持着婚姻关系。。影片讲述了一个女儿在两位母亲之间的撕裂与挣扎的故事，一位是用爱抚养她成长的养母Tina、，另一个则是与她有着血缘关系的亲生母亲Angelica。三个人因爱与伤痛而产生了纽带关系，但被爱围困的女儿究竟该如何抉择，三人各自身份又该如何定义？虽然导演比斯普里只执导过三部长片，但此次的入围是其继影片《处女之誓》后第二次获得柏林电影节金熊奖的提名。。Inspired by Istanbul-born Armenian intellectual Eremya Celebi Komurciyan's travel diaries from the 17th century, Invisible to the Eye traces this particular itinerary in today’s Istanbul.
