劇中敘述1979年的暑假，女主角孟娟（陳妤飾演）邀請大學同學書蘭（劉倩妏飾演）到家中的香蕉園幫忙採收。兩人偷偷發展出一段曖昧的情誼，還結伴到美麗島雜誌社為自由人權發聲，眼看彼此找到心之所向，卻渾然不覺踏入白色恐怖的風暴中。。It’s the end of summer vacation for Amin. The young photographer spends cozy evenings with Charlotte, the ex-girlfriend of his casanova cousin. She talks to him about literature, he photographs her.
