In a panic, the others try to get out, only to find they are now locked in the theater with the killer! Which one of them committed the murder, and who will get out alive?。日本侵略军占领北平，“白家老号”百草厅的秘方成为日军觊觎的对象。决心与日寇周旋到底的白家七爷白景琦，当晚就与李香秀秘密转移了秘方，却遭到杨九红等人的一致反对。坚持抗日的七爷孙子白占元逃往解放区参加了八路军。七爷以商会会长的身份，将大批禁运的药品，偷运到抗日前线和解放区。七爷身陷囹圄，李香秀多方斡旋，终判七爷无罪。终于日本投降，举家欢腾。解放大军开进北平，白府上下均受到深刻的思想教育。在“公私合营”运动中，七爷将珍藏百年的“白家秘方”献给了国家。然而白府却因分割家产而人人反目，七爷目睹家中的种种不幸，立下遗嘱，将财产捐献给故宫。。
