2009年4月～6月に放送された人気TVアニメの完結編となる劇場版2部作の第1部。監督は「攻殻機動隊 STAND ALONE COMPLEX」の神山健治。2011年2月19日、日本を襲った60発のミサイル攻撃を誰にも知られることなく阻止した滝沢朗は、その半年後、こつ然と姿を消す。彼を見守ってきた森美咲は、滝沢が残した謎の携帯電話「ノブレス携帯」にあった情報から、滝沢がいると思われるニューヨークへ向かうが……。。The ship has been stuck in the doldrums for some time, but as soon as they break free into more promising water, the wind blows up suddenly, damaging the foremast and sending the ship right back into the still water.
