Viver Mal is the reverse shot of Mal ...。飞速发展的日本经济打破了茨城县鹿岛长久以来的平静，大工业涌入，农业区纷纷变成了临海的工业基地。山泽家长男幸雄（根津甚八 饰）脑瓜灵活，用变卖土地的钱买了一辆自动卸货卡车，靠为工地运送沙石赚了大钱。有了钱的幸雄开始沉迷毒品，然两个儿子溺水而死却让他警醒过来。幸雄请人在后背刺上观音像和儿子们的戒名作为超度，但与妻子文江的关系却越来越紧张。不久，弟弟明彦的女友顺子来到鹿岛，她很快为幸雄的故事所吸引…… 本片荣获曾获1982年《电影旬报》十大佳片第二名、最佳男主角奖第三十七届每日电影竞赛优秀电影奖、摄影奖被评为1980年代日本最佳影片第23名。。
