Rebellion is a five part serial drama about the birth of modern Ireland.The story is told from the perspectives of a group of fictional characters who live through the political events of the 1916 Easter Rising.。1912年3月，距新疆吐鲁番40公里外的戈壁沙丘上，一队人马艰难跋涉。漫天风沙中，虽然一行人全部维吾尔族装束，但领头的不仅装束截然不同，满口还竟是日本语。火焰山虽不是《西游记》里所说的八百里火焰能烧化铜头铁身，但作为中国最热的地方，确是童山秃岭，鸟兽绝迹，外国人一行必有隐秘。而日本人并非唯一来此的外国人...。
